Nicole Marrero, Treasurer

Nicole Marrero is an operations professional with experience supporting mission-driven organizations through growth, transition, and systems-building. She has overseen cross-functional operations, strengthened workflows and SOPs, and managed CRM and marketing systems to improve efficiency, data integrity, and executive reporting—skills well-suited to an emerging nonprofit.

Previously, Nicole supported organizational operations and membership programs, drafting more than 40 SOPs, training staff, contributing to cross-functional task forces, and supporting financial processes. She brings a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to building sustainable infrastructure.

As a former stay-at-home parent, Nicole brings lived experience and a deep understanding of the postpartum period, along with strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, and logistical planning. Her professional expertise and personal perspective align closely with The Newborn Project’s mission to strengthen postpartum care systems and support families during the transition into parenthood.
